Maryport inshore rescue boat was
established in 1978, in response to the loss of three local lives

years after the RNLI closed the station and moved the service to Workington.

As an independent service manned by volunteers we work closely
with the RNLI, H.M Coastguard and all
other emergency services,
all crew are on call 24hours a day 365 days a year.
we
receive no funding and have to raise all funding ourselves

station is open Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings for training please call
